What is the return policy?

All unworn items that were purchased from this website at full price or with a discount of 15% or less and are in new condition with tags and hygienic liners attached, with the exception of hair accessories, can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Pieces purchased from our sale section, mystery items, and hair accessories are final sale.

Your return must be in transit back to us by the 30th day after your order was placed to qualify for a return for a refund, store credit, or exchange.

Any full price item purchased with a discount code for 20% or more is not eligible for a refund. We will only offer store credit only for these orders.

If you return 7 or more items in your order for a refund a handling fee of $10 from your refund. This cost is to help cover our expenses for having to collect your pieces and inspect them. Orders that return less than 7 items will not be subject to this charge.

Once we receive and approve your returned items, your refund will be processed to your original form of payment

For sanitary reasons, please try on all swimwear over underwear.

Are returns free?

Our returns process is not free

For customers in Australia and New Zealand, when setting up your return, you will be directed to purchase and download a return shipping label that can be printed and attached to your return package. The cost of this label is $10.

This covers the cost of shipping your pieces back to Sydney. Once delivered to our base in Sydney, your package is opened and inspected thoroughly before your refund is processed.

For customers in Japan, we will ask that you please cover the cost of return shipping of your pieces back to our returns base in Sydney, Australia. You may ship your package back to us through any postal carrier you choose and any fees for mailing the package will be due to the carrier you choose. We strongly suggest that you choose a shipping method with tracking.

How do I start my return/exchange?

What if I lose the original packaging the order came in?

Not a problem! You can use the prepaid shipping label to send your items back in any packaging.

How soon will I get my refund?

Your refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 5-10 business days after being delivered to our base. Once you receive your refund notification, please allow an additional 5-10 days for your bank provider to post the amount to your account.

How does my refund with Afterpay work?

Afterpay will determine how to apply the refund to your order and adjust the payment schedule accordingly so that you are refunded in full. For further questions about your order, please feel free to reach out to Afterpay’s customer service team.

Can I return final sale items?

Hair accessories, mystery items, and all items purchased from our sale section are not eligible for a refund or exchange. We understand that buying final sale items can be tricky, so please feel free to reach out to info@kulanikinis.com before placing your order with any questions about sizing, fit, or fabric so that we can ensure you love your purchase. Items not eligible for return include:

- Any full price item purchased with a discount code for 20% or more.
- Hair Accessories including headbands and scrunchies.
- All items purchased from the sale section.
- Mystery Items.
- Pieces that are worn, damaged, or have the tags and hygienic sticker removed.

If I purchased Kulani Kinis at a retail store, can I return or exchange it with you?

No, all purchases made through a retail store can only be returned or exchanged directly with the place of original purchase and in accordance to the store’s return policies as they have access to your order and payment information.

Can I exchange an item?

Yes, all unworn items that were purchased from this website at full price or with a discount of 15% or less and in new condition with tags and liners attached, with the exception of hair accessories, mystery items, and pieces from the sale section, can be exchanged within 30 days of purchase.

Please note all items on our sale section, mystery items, and hair accessories are not eligible for an exchange unless your items are damaged upon receiving them or they are not the correct products you ordered.

Are exchanges free?

I exchanged an item but my new piece also didn’t work out? What can I do now?

While we hope this doesn’t happen, if you’ve exchanged an item and your exchange piece also does not fit, we can offer you a refund in store credit or back to your original payment method. We are not able to offer a second exchange.

If you choose a refund in store credit, you will be refunded the original price you paid for the item in store credit. Any shipping you paid on your original order will not be refunded.

If you live outside of Australia and we prepaid the duties and taxes on your order, your refund will also be less the cost of the duties and taxes.

If sending back more than 7 items, a handling fee will also apply.

If I refuse a delivery of my order what happens?

While we hope this will never happen, you are more than welcome to refuse the delivery of your order - however, please know the costs of shipping your order, the cost of shipping your order back to us, and any duties/taxes paid on your behalf will be deducted from your refund of that order.

Your refund will be processed when the package is received and inspected at our base in Sydney. 

If I sign up to email and get a code, does that change anything?

Not at all! You can still exchange or return if you sign up for our email and use the 10% off code.

What do I do if I receive a faulty/incorrect item?

While we hope this never happens, if you do receive an incorrectly sized item or immediately find a manufacturing fault, please contact us at info@kulanikinis.com and we will help resolve your issue as fast as we can. Please include your name, order number, and a photo of the issue!
