(Blended/Dual Role)


The Kulani Kinis team is growing! We are excited to find our next family member who will join our small team in Southern Sydney. We are an Australian Swimwear Brand looking for an empathic and detail oriented person to join and grow with us.

Your role will be fast paced and blended. As part of our Customer Care Crew you will be a kind voice for Kulani Kinis, creating a memorable brand experience and ensuring that every point of contact (digital + some face to face) exceeds our customers' expectations. When processing our online orders (new &/or returns/exchanges) you will be efficient, organised and demonstrate high attention to detail.

You won't be alone – you will be working directly with the founder of Kulani Kinis in your role. You will be supported in your tasks as well as have the opportunity to work independently.

*Important to Note!*

We don't want to waste your time (or ours!) so before reading any further – please note this role is based in South Sydney (Sutherland Shire/St George Area). 

We are flexible in terms of leave/holidays; however for 2019 we have some important 'block out dates' in which we need you to be available and not have any leave scheduled. Without this availability we unfortunately cannot accept your application. Full time availability would be required for March to July + September 2019.

Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Customer Care

  • Ensure all customer contacts are met with a timely, exceptional and personalised experience (predominantly email, digital + some face to face).
  • Maintain, refine and create processes and systems to document requests, feedback and manage all returns and exchanges.
  • On the job training will be provided by the team.

Warehouse Fulfilment Processor

  • Ability to use Australia Post eParcel system and DHL Express to fulfil orders.
  • Picking and packing of orders efficiently and accurately (including returns/exchanges + larger wholesale orders).
  • Receiving and checking incoming stock as well as regular stocktake and inventory control.
  • On the job training will be provided by the team.

To join our team we would love you to meet the following criteria if possible:

  • Previous customer care and order processing experience within the fashion or a related industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (spelling, grammar, punctuation and pronunciation) as well as the ability to adapt the Kulani Kinis 'voice' and communication style.
  • Familiar with Shopify or similar Ecommerce software systems.
  • Exceptional computer and online skills including typing speed, knowledge of social media and word processing.
  • Self motivated, proactive and calm under pressure.
  • Empathic, punctual and able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously and unsupervised.
  • Ability to make recommendations for systems and processes to improve our service.
  • Organised, efficient and maintain high attention to detail and ability to identify issues.
  • Last but not least, not be afraid to jump in, all hands on deck and do whatever is needed to make things happen!
  • Must be a resident of Australia.
